Monday Night Homework

Picked up an issue of Grassroots. Let me first of say that this magazine provides great detail on anything motorsports, and if your a die hard go fast junkie like me, then you'll understand what this magazine can do to you in a span of 2 hours.

After buying, i just had to make a post about it. First off, the issue provides some information about getting your daily on the track, and obviously once old man winter leaves, the SRT4 will be hitting up a lot of events. The article didn't provide a lot of info about going to the track- kind of what more to expect from your driving teacher. But it did provide useful things like what to do before going to the track, what to get out of your first experience at the track and the usual do's and don'ts at the track. Hell, this got me out of the winter blues a little. Got the mind up and running about some of the things we need to start doing over here at HRF come Spring.

Also, the magazine provided a terrific article on a forgotten modern day muscle car. Before i brought the 8, i did think of getting the GTO, but trying to find one local in Ontario was extremely hard. The article explains the different generations, horse power and torque ratings for each year, as well as why the GTO failed terribly.....Then came the "G8", then Pontiac collapsed all together......Would still love to have one. My old man is thinking about getting another car within the next couple of years, hhmm.....best bang for your buck?? Stop buying shitty import magazines that only concentrate on the flashy expensive parts you have, and go buy Grassroots Motorsports.

Thats all for now -Bring back Spring.

Thanks again to all the guys who make and publish this amazing magazine. All Rights go to these guys.

Spring Cleaning

Happy New Year from the boys at Heinkel Fabrication!
A week after New Years, we got blessed with some great weather, a hole 6 degrees Celsius! So out we went to start some early Spring cleaning. Thought it would be a good time to get the SRT8 out and running for a while, so took the old covers off -again- and lit her up. Also ended up washing the little 4 just to get all the salt and crap off of her. Still looks pretty bad ass tuckin' those steelies

Last but not least, finaly got around to moving our heart for The Avenger to the basement, don't ask how but we managed to get the beast down there......

you'll see more of the new engine soon, i promise but until then, keep turnin' up the juice and see what shakes loose!

you stare and she'll stare rite back.....

Whatchu no bout washin' steelies?!
