Filler neck time

First and for most, I'm the other half to HRF. I finally have some time to post the work that I do. -Enjoy

Was at work today and decided to get some pictures in after I finished up some parts that needed to be welded up. So these are fuel filler necks that the company I am currently employed at build. They are actually for an APC or (armored personal carrier). To be more specific; off of the military Striker used by Canadian and U.S military forces. Its all 321 stainless steel and the thickness ranges from about SCH10 on the top of the tube down to about 0.45 on the bottom ring.

Will get off my lazy ass and post up again soon!

Switch up

Seasons Greetings,
Been to busy with stuff lately and just finally had some time to post up what's been going on around the shop. Things have been a little slow with business as Christmas has quicky crept up on us. Last weekend, we decided to throw the winter blades on. We went with a 16" inch blade and a set of winter Continental Tires.

We are praying that the winter isn't as brutal cause hell, don't wanna treat this like a real "winter beater". Put it this way-more of a weekend warrior for next season! We're really excited that we can finally go to some local track days with something that is fast out of the box! The Avenger will be done when its done, but in the mean while, we need some seat time. This thing has proven its reputation.......

Next, i want to show off a great idea we came up with. We call them "winter socks". Since we have an aftermarket suspension on the 4 (H&R), we thought to protect it during the nasty salty winter season. We used our "secret" materials and came up with these "socks" that completely cover the strut. We applied some wheel bearing grease to keep everything lubed up then put the sock on using zip ties. Doesn't look like it will work but i tell you, these socks really do the job, not one bit of salt or dirt will get on these things!

After that was out of the way, one O2 sensor took a shiter so we replaced that and we were flying. See the difference between the one on the left compared the the right?? Pretty awesome huh??

Try to update again soon.

p.s:
Dear Santa,
I've really tried to be a good boy this year, even though i've been eating all the little Honda's and Mustang's out there, but if its not to much to ask, can i have the SLP Shotgun Reso's for my SRT8 please?? ;)

Vinny Ten talks the industry

Found this video about Vinny Ten. He was the first guy in North America to crack 10's with a Supra. What he says in every way is exactly right. Weather it be him talking about the Automotive industry or the Aftermarket Automotive Industry, this guy tells it how it should be told. Can't seem to find the video on Youtube so here's the link-highly suggesting to watch all of it.
